    March 26, 2018

I was sent this Nawab self care package three months back. I know it too late to review it but I wanted to give these oils a good time and try every single product of this package. So here is my review. Those who are following me on Instagram may know that i have written short reviews on NAWAB oils there. Along with this bundle there were mixed nut brittle and falsa chutney which were too delicious.Today i am going to review their detox bundle which included four organic oils

    1. Striking Sesame Oil
    2. Coconut Oil
    3. Caster Oil
    4. Flax seed oil

    Striking sesame oil

Sesame oil is extracted from sesame seeds. I have used this oil as my salad dressing and sauteing the pasta. You wouldn’t believe that pasta tasted too good and flavor of salad was more enhanced. The aroma is nutty and tantalizing. It has many wonderful health and beauty benefits. But here i will talk about their health benefits only. You can use sesame oil safely externally and internally. It has been used for thousand of years to maintain health.

    •  It is loaded with magnesium and calcium which elevate bone health.
    • It is high in magnesium and other nutrients which help with diabetes and blood pressure control.
    •  Relieves anxiety and depression by flooding body with enzymes that makes a person feel happy. and encourages restful sleep.
    • Detoxification; Vitamin E in sesame oil is powerful antioxidant which filter toxins from body.
    • Protects heart health.
    • You can use it as a flavor enhancer in soups, salads, sauces or it can be used as a cooking oil to cook anything.

    Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is so versatile that it is used in frying food, baking sweets, sautéing pasta, and dressing salads. What underlies coconut oil’s adoption by everyone is its huge benefits for body health. Research shows that adding this oil to your diet could be one easiest way to improve your health, appearance and well-being.

    • Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil to any smoothie for a boost of cholesterol fighting compounds.
    • Use as a replacement of cooking oil as it is a perfect oil for high-heat cooking.
    • Use coconut oil in place of butter in baking foods. but make sure it’s melted at room temperature otherwise it will solidify if added to cold ingredients.
    • Coconut oil is that delicious and healthful. Enjoy one spoonful each morning or add it in your tea or coffee.
    • Light coat your fry pan with it to creat a non-stick surface and fry eggs.
    • To Fry up a batch of potato fries or piece of chicken use coconut oil. My personal favorite.

There is no end to the uses of coconut oil we have yet to learn. But my blog post will be too long if i did not stop her.

    Flax seed oil
Flax seed oil is plant based source of omega 3 and that is why it is often compared to fish oil. It is not only rich in omega 3s; but also have a variety of nutrients.

    • It is strictly advised to never use this oil for cooking as it has a very low smoking point.
    • Its flavor is nutty and slightly sweet which makes it delicious.
    • It has anti inflammatory and disease preventing properties.
    •  Flax seed oil has a respected and acknowledged position in the world of cancer treatments.
    •  Consuming about a tbsp of this oil improves skin elasticity and controls eczema.
    •  Flax seed oil is a natural remedy for relieving constipation and alleviating diarrhea.

    Caster oil
Caster oil is most common and widely used oil for hair and skin because of its huge benefits. I have been using caster oil for my hair lately and i must say it is a wonderful oil for hair growth and specially thickening hair. i have used caster oil on my lashes and God knows they grew long only in two weeks. Besides hair and skin it has many therapeutic benefits not many of us are aware of.

    •  Controls Constipation: Ricinoleic acid in caster oil helps the process of digestion and cleanse the system by helping in proper bowel movement.
    • Anti-inflammatory: Its anti-inflammatory properties make it useful for treating irritated skin, for relieving joint pain, nerve inflammation and sore muscles.
    • Heals skin: If you have dry, irritated, or acne prone skin use this oil.  Caster oil penetrates deep into the skin and fights bacteria overgrowth that can clog pores. It moisturize and softens the irritated skin.
    • Treats ring worms: It effectively treats ring worms which is a common and stubborn problem across all age groups.

There are much more advantages and ways to consume these oils. i have combined few of them to help you people. One thing you keep in mind while making these oils a part of your diet that you should only use cold pressed 100% organic oils. NAWAB is providing high quality cold pressed natural oils but at an affordable price. They also deal in different organic food items like brown rice, brittle, brown sugar and chutneys.
